Tanja introduces her process of exploring the life and biology of animals and allowing an intuitive process to guide her artistic hand. The dreamlike results combine a story inspired by science, intuition and the muses Students will learn about 6 sacred animals that surround the bee in myth, mystery and indigenous origin stories.
Artists are encouraged to bring sketching materials and a drawing pad to the class. Initial sketches will lead to completed works (artist’s choice as to medium) to be shared in the following class.
